Yogi Bear, for a pic-i-nic basket,
Always took and didn’t ask it.
He saved ol’ Jellystone, I heard;
So guess “forgiven!” is the word!
Pippi, Anne Shirley, Annie so free;
The red heads take the cake, you see.
But they are quite a feisty lot.
I ought to know – red hair I got!

(for better or worse…) Clerihew prompt. Please read the others! Many amazing poems over there that do the form justice!
Marvellous! I love ’em!
These are great! I used to love watching Yogi Bear back in the day and I love your reference to all the red heads including yourself…cute! Thanks for adding to our collection of Clerihew, Crystal.

Pippi Longstocking! She was a favorite of mine! Love it!
I love the though of a red coiffure,
a hue that reminds me most of her.
They say you never forget your first love,
hard to forget when she smiles down from above!
I’ve had a connect with red-haired lovelies and I find comfort in your admission. Love your word play and your vision, Crystal. Thanks for this!
Ah. Those redheads do get their part
Hey, Boo Boo
I like that Clerihew
It brings back memories of cartoons
and wearing pajamas until noon
Yogi Bear a constant companion growing up besides Tom and Jerry for our generation.! Natural Red-heads are always a wonder. Other fakes can be seen from a distance!

Oh wow, I haven;’t thought about Yogi Bear for ages – thank you for bringing a smile to my face!
Oh chuckling out loud I am at the second one here. Like them both but LOVE the second one — especially the ending 🙂
Loved the one about the read heads. When my wife was expecting our this child, my second soon was asked, “what do you hope you’re mommy has?” He answered, “I hope she has a fire breathing dragon.” Or youngest has reddish hair and a temper to match. Fire breathing dragon wish granted!
