I touched the veil with fingertips; beyond my reach
a dreamscape of wishes and desires.
It parted just enough
to tease me with endless possibility.
But like a door slammed on my hand,
the veil closed with a final bang,
as if nailed tighter than a coffin
of dreams laid to rest before their time.
But I awoke one day, the sun on my face!
No veil, no coffin.
But life! Life! Life!
And the glimpse became a landscape
of blissful reality
unveiled in the Light of your Love!

I liked the phrase “dreams laid to rest before their time”. Nice description of a resurrection to the Light of Love.
Beautiful and loved the uplifting ending
Love that turn with the sun on your face ~ A very hopeful with the Light of your Love!
Oh the blessing to wake from such nightmares
I love this awakening! A beautiful poem.
Uplifting and full of hope.
Wow-finding love on the upbeat–very nice; dreams are relevant, necessary–but how sweet to awaken & find love sitting at your kitchen table.
“But I awoke one day, the sun on my face!” From darkness to clarity… from hopelessness to hope… lovely
Love this ode to the Divine!
There is more here than I realized after reading it twice…what an uplifting write!
