1. Ha! My immediate check list if things don’t work when switched on:
   Is it plugged in?
   Is it switched on at the plug?
   Is cable connected to plug and appliance?
   Is appliance switched on?
   Does it work in another socket?
   Is there a power cut?
   Has the fuse blown?
   If 1 to 4 are yes and 5 to 7 are no, CALL HUBBY!!!
