This page contains my review, demonstrations, and original pieces played on the Clarineo from Nuvo Instrumental. This is a clarinet in the key of C, marketed as a pre-band children’s clarinet. I especially want to thank Brittany Bauman, Director of Music Education at Nuvo, for the audio-described fingering guide she created! This is extremely helpful to me, as a totally blind musician. I truly couldn’t learn Clarineo without it! Thank you very much, Brittany!
I chose 3 types of pieces for this review: Beginner pieces using Nuvo backing tracks, which taught me the importance of playing with a backing track to learn to play more in tune; original pieces and improvisations; and traditional pieces we play in healthcare settings. Most of these files are short. The longest file is my review, which takes 20 minutes, if you have the time! I hope these provide a good representation of just a few types of music you can play on the Clarineo!
