1. Look what God has done!
Inspired and made you one
With all that is above
And all that is below,
With earth and moon and sun,
And tides that ebb and flow!
Look what God has done!
2. Look what God can see!
All of eternity!
The puzzle that is whole,
The image real and true,
The path of every soul,
The beauty that is you!
Look what God can see!
3. Look what God has blessed!
The journey to his rest!
The road that’s hard to take,
The inner Light that shines,
The step that is in faith,
The Love that frees the mind!
Look what God has blessed!
4. Look what God has done!
Created you as one!
With Jesus Christ who came,
And every noble fruit,
The Kingdom’s yours to claim,
‘Cause God-life is your root!
Look what God has done!
Look what God has blessed!
Look what God can see!
Look what God has done
Here in you and me!
1. At a party I will sit
And listen to the din.
With small talk of the status quo,
I’m not one to jump in.
And all this talk of differences
And who did what to whom,
I get the feeling I should go
And clean my mental room.
Refrain:
2. I bless the people chatting now
Who know not what they say.
They’re spreading negativity
When there’s a brighter way.
And all this talk of differences
And who did what to whom,
If I agree in thought or word,
I build the sense of gloom.
Refrain:
3. And even during quiet time
Or going off to sleep,
The thoughts and words we dwell upon
Are what the night will keep.
And that self-talk of differences
And who did what to whom
Is moving on to paint the dawn.
So let us change our tune.
Refrain:
Karma is as karma does;
In God we are aware.
Refrain:
‘Cause every thought is precious,
And every word gives life.
And how we choose to spend them
Brings harmony or strife.
May we be mindful of our thoughts
And speak our words with care.
‘Cause karma is as karma does;
O let us be aware.
The yin-yang, or yin and yang,
is a symbol of seeming opposites being present in each other, the way that God-Presence, Lifeforce, Cosmic Consciousness, or Spirit is present in all aspects of life.
Duality Hymn – Lyrics
Instrument: Eventide – Mahogany Concert Ukulele
1. We feel alone in the darkness,
Trapped in a mind bleak and still.
We cannot see through the forest;
We cannot feel through the chill.
Yet there is Light here inside us;
There is calm in the storm.
A gentle hand cools a fever;
The very same keeps us warm.
2. There is a Power in the darkness,
Creator, God, Life of All.
And there is no separation;
No lifting up, and no fall.
For in the midst of the torment,
God is infinite Sight.
And there is Oneness in knowing;
Outside of feeling and time.
3. We feel alone in the darkness,
But when we know and be still,
We feel the warmth of the Spirit;
The Law of Love is fulfilled.
For the Eternal is Wholeness
Within all of Its parts,
And keeping infinite Order
In every life that It sparks.
Amen!
A little bluegrass to celebrate the coming of Spring to our northern hemisphere, and remind us of the Infinite, ever present Spirit of the Universe.
And bluegrass on a uke? Some would say no, but clearly it has its place.

1. No matter where I am;
No matter what I do,
I feel something in nature
And touch a part of You.
2. No matter what I think;
No matter what I see,
I know You are the rhythm
Of life inside of me.
Refrain:
You are the Springtime blossoms
And the Summer heat.
You are the Autumn harvest
And the Winter freeze.
You are the ebb and flow
Of sun and sea and moon.
You are the All in All,
And we are one in You.
3. No matter what I planted;
No matter what I reap,
I know You are the Presence
Of all Eternity.
4. No matter where I’ve been;
No matter where I go,
I know You shine within me –
I take the path You show.
Refrain: (Twice)
1. Always lookin’ for some more
Or settling a score,
We dance around the issues of the past.
We don’t really let them go,
And for all we choose to know,
We cling to things that really couldn’t last.
2. All the people and the things
That bring us security
Only keep the peace of falsehood in our minds.
If we really had the best,
We would choose the Peace and Rest
When we seek in God, we never fail to find.
3. The foundation of a heart
Is the Spirit that is part
Of each thing we ever loved or thought we could.
And It never goes away,
Even when surroundings change.
So a life that’s settled here is truly good.
God never goes away,
Even when surroundings change.
So a life settled in Him is truly good.
1. God sees all of You,
But you only see a part.
So to do your best,
You gotta open up your heart!
Refrain:
2. God sees where you’ve been
And where you’re gonna be.
He’s the Truth of who You are,
So stand up and be free!
Refrain:
3. God is the beginning,
All lifetimes, and the end.
So on His Love and Knowing
We can all depend!
Refrain: (Twice)
Refrain:
[And/so] let the Mind be within you
As It was in Christ!
Let the Breath of the Spirit
Be your abundant Life!
And let the peace that passes understanding
Come down like a dove,
And let the heart of God
Fill your heart with Love!
In Metaphysics we emphasize baptism from within. St. Paul wrote, “Let the mind be in you that was in Christ Jesus.” This Christ-conscious Mind baptizes the conscious, human mind.
As with communion, this baptism can and should take place anywhere, at any moment. Many Metaphysical/mystical traditions forgo specific (water) baptism and communion ceremonies for this reason. Still others offer them, particularly in a church or spiritual center.
Keep in mind as the Easter season approaches, that baptism and communion ceremonies are symbolic only. The ceremony itself does not confer anything. It is the inner work , the Spirit rather than the letter of the law, that is celebrated. You don’t need a ceremony or clergy member for this. Having a ceremony is not wrong – Jesus allowed John to baptize him in water (Matthew 3:13-17).
The following, Aquarian Gospel 64:1-10, also recounts this situation:
Jesus’ witnesses about John
“The news reached Galilee, and Jesus with the multitude went down to where the harbinger was preaching at the ford. When Jesus saw the harbinger he said, Behold the man of God! Behold the greatest of the seers! Behold, Elijah has returned! Behold the messenger whom God has sent to open up the way! The kingdom is at hand”
John witnesses about Jesus
“When John saw Jesus standing with the throng he said, Behold the king who cometh in the name of God!”
Baptism
“And Jesus said to John, I would be washed in water as a symbol of the cleansing of the soul. And John replied, you do not need to wash, for you are pure in thought, and word, and deed. And if you need to wash I am not worthy to perform the rite. And Jesus said, I come to be a pattern for the sons of men, and what I bid them do, that I must do; and all men must be washed, symbolic of the cleansing of the soul. This washing we establish as a rite–baptism rite we call it now, and so it shall be called. Your work, prophetic harbinger, is to prepare the way, and to reveal the hidden things. The multitudes are ready for the words of life, and I come to be made known by you to all the world, as prophet of the Triune God, and as the chosen one to manifest the Christ to men”
Jesus did teach water baptism. However, the water baptism alone will not make you more spiritual or aware, without your own inner connection to God – “the cleansing of the soul.”
please enjoy this baptism song. It’s self-explanatory, but those new to this mystical view may find the above ideas helpful.
Refrain:
In the Light of Christ,
You are baptized in that River
Of healing, loving Truth.
You are born again
From within by the Water
Of God who lives in you.
1. No, it’s not the Jordan.
Bless-ed even so!
This River is within you,
Closer than you know!
Refrain:
2. You’re the Father’s Child,
Equal to the Son.
Meet and love and trust Him,
Knowing you are One.
Refrain:
3. Bathe in living Water
Every single day.
Find Its Source within you;
Meditate and pray.

1. Shoes are made for business, dressing up and going places.
Some for playing sports, heavy work, and running races.
Problems seem to come when we fray and cut the laces
Of the shoes we think God wears.
Refrain:
2. Look at all the sizes, the styles and the shapes!
And There’s demand for every shoe they make.
Yet we judge the worth and the right to display
The different shoes we think God wears.
Refrain: (Twice)
That’s why there are many parts of the One.
Every soul is God’s, and He knows the path they’re on.
Refrain:
Remember, God has more shoes than [last time: just] yours.
You can’t fill them all, of course.
That’s why there are many parts of the One.
Every soul is God’s, and He knows the path they’re on.
1. We give thanks for all the things we are and have and do.
Yet when we have nothing, we can still give thanks in Truth,
‘Cause we are Life and Love, and our existance is just proof.
Refrain:
2. If a Force created us, It must have had a plan.
If it were destruction, then why are we still at hand?
It’s God creating lovingly each woman, child and man.
Refrain:
3. We are here by God’s design, expressing all He is.
Who we are is really part of one eternal bliss.
Minds and bodies change and grow, but souls live on in Him.
Refrain: (Twice)
Refrain:
Everything we are, we are,
Because of who God is.
Everything we have, we have,
Because He is the gift.
Everything we do, we do,
Because He is our breath.
And so we give our thanks to God,
Who in us loves and dwells.
