To center myself through the day,
I let all the world fall away…
My whole consciousness
curls into itself,
disarming the furious fray.
Amazing well-being I find,
curls out of the Infinite Mind.
With sweetest success,
abundantly blessed,
from chaos to vision so kind!

The mindfulness, the consciousness curling into itself…a great direction to take the prompt.
I really like the curling into oneself and finding the blessings within & out ~
Thanks for joining us ~ Cheers ~
Lovely limericks.
A nice pair of limericks with one’s consciousness curling in in the first and the Infinite Mind curling out in the second.
Great piece. We all can benefit from curling into ourselves for moments of stillness.
I love this use of the limerick form for more serious poetry. You’ve done it so well.
To center myself through the day,
I let all the world fall away… I try to do that one every day, some days more successfully. It is nice to have sanity to curl out of my mind. Thanks
Wise words….and a good reminder to disarm that furious fray!
The limerick stanza without its lightness works brilliantly…
I love the way you’ve used limericks in this. These are my favourite lines:-
My whole consciousness
curls into itself,
disarming the furious fray
