It’s a good thing I don’t have a desk!
If I did, it would be a big mess!
Should be glad for the stuff,
‘Cause there’s more than enough
Overflowing to leave a bequest!

In the wind there is something afoot.
Could be omen, or maybe for good.
It can go either way
And reminds me each day
To treat others the way that I should!

Loving comfort is wrapped in the sound.
Young and elderly all gather round.
Radiant when it rings,
Ev’ry note, ev’ry string.
Simple beauty and magic profound!
Note: You may have noticed that this poem is an Acrostic as well as a Limerick.
Most of life is the space in between
The beginnings and endings, it seems.
So take joy in it all…
Ev’ry rise, even falls –
And don’t wait for success to be free!
Brightest blessings to Sara and Sam!
Hear the flock give a welcoming hand!
Ah! The Springtime is come,
And it’s tenderly sprung
With the birth of the first newborn lamb!

A followup to yesterday’s
When a din started out in the back,
How they took a dim view of the cat!
But you can’t blame the minx,
For whatever you think,
She found treasure in mountains of trash!
I give love to all people and things!
It’s a birthright, whoever you be.
Though the going gets tough,
There is always enough:
Universal! And no hidden fees!
Christ is risen! He’s risen indeed!
And from every last sin we are freed!
If we carry their load,
Then the fault is our own:
‘Cause the King threw them into the sea!
Wishing everyone a happy Easter Sunday!
O this poem is hellishly funny,
And so is the state of my money.
I tell you I’m broke,
And it isn’t a joke,
But it costs not a thing to be sunny! 🙂
