Go answer the door!

Morning Tea
Unawake, I rise.
The jeering kettle whistles.
Lemons start the day.
Help
When hopeful fires can’t warm you up
And caring seems a long dead art;
When one harsh word cuts through your heart
And nothing fills your broken cup,
I will not speak of how you’re loved.
I’ll never claim to understand
Or how there is a bigger plan.
Won’t tell you things you cannot hear,
But give you my two listening ears
With tender heart and open hands.

Like a Phoenix growth is born
From ashes transformed

Hectic
Hectic lives injure
Gullible in different ways
Struggling to survive
Treat yourself and all others
With the kindness you long for
