Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.
And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
–1 Corinthians 13:1-3, 13 (NKJV)
1. If you have a child,
You know the power of love.
There’s no request too big or small
On earth or heaven above.
Refrain:
2. If God sends you a soulmate,
No mountain is too high.
You give yourself and all you have
To see that precious smile.
Refrain:
3. O Jesus paid the price
To wash away our sins.
So let us open up our hearts
And let his Spirit in.
Refrain:
It’s not enough
Unless you pay it with love.
Refrain:
‘Cause if there’s any other reason that you make the sacrifice,
And if the cost is any less than the greatest things in life,
And if you choose a different way to pay the highest price,
It’s not enough.
You gotta pay it with love.

This is the first song I’ve written since I moved almost 3 months ago. It’s been a long time and quite a journey, and I have been so blessed through it all. I am very happy with my work here, and I’ve met so many kind and generous people. I can understand why they call this part of PA “God’s Country.”
Now… Do you know what creamed chipped beef is? If not, click here to find out.
And it’s better over biscuits, not toast. 🙂
1. God delivered the Hebrews;
He protected Daniel too,
Brought three men from the fiery furnace,
And lifted us from the blues.
Refrain:
Now the only blue ’round here is navy,
And we love creamed chipped beef and gravy.
Ever blessed and don’t mean maybe,
So we gotta praise the Lord.
We gotta praise the Lord.
2. God made David a great king,
And he caused the blind to see.
He sent his son in love and peace,
And He cares for you and me.
Refrain:
3. We have all we could ask for,
Because we know the Lord,
Our comforter and deliverer;
This world can’t offer more.
Refrain:
‘Cause the only blue ’round here is navy,
And we love creamed chipped beef and gravy.
We’re ever blessed and don’t mean maybe,
And we gotta praise the Lord.
We gotta praise the Lord!

Wishing a happy and blessed Father’s Day to all men with children, father figures, mentors, teachers, leaders, and all those who protect, care for, support, and love others unconditionally, as our Father in Heaven loves each one of us!
Jesus Speaks of the Father
And He said to them, “Why did you seek Me? Did you not know that I must be about My Father’s business?”
–Luke 2:49 (NKJV)
But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
–Matthew 6:33 (NKJV)
For whoever does the will of My Father in heaven is My brother and sister and mother.”
–Matthew 12:50 (NKJV)
Unconditional Love – Lyrics
Refrain:
Unconditional love as the Father above,
Means no expectations of what you receive.
Unconditional love as a child of the One,
Means showing compassion and faith to believe.
And the Father is giving, providing and living
Unconditional love through you and me.
1. Let us love with His heart
And do our holy part.
When we reach out our hands,
Let the Father take command.
Refrain:
2. Let us love with His mind
And seek Him till we find.
When we speak any Word,
Let the Father’s voice be heard.
Refrain:
3. Let us love with His soul,
Eternal, pure and whole.
When we fill someone’s need,
Let it be the Father’s deed.
Refrain:
I recognize that God is the creator and father of all. Made in his image, I am a child of light, love, and peace. God is perfect, and I am a child of perfection.
I meditate daily, bringing my awareness to the truth that in the mind of God, the father and I are already one. Only in the personal ego am I alone, limited, lacking, and separate from God. By giving up my personal ego to the father within me, all sense of isolation disappears.
My consciousness is transformed by the indwelling Power and Presence of God. In this state of Christ mind, my life expresses the perfect Will of my Father who sent me. I pray as Christ taught: Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
As above, so below. And in His grace I am perfect, even as my father in heaven is perfect. For He is the only true power, source, and presence in my life. Of myself, I am nothing.
I give thanks that I am a child of God, the father of all. And so it is. Amen.
However, as it is written: “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived” — the things God has prepared for those who love him—
–1 Corinthians 2:9 (NIV)
No ear can hear the power of the Word;
No eye can see the beauty of His face
Until the mind has opened up and heard
And heart conceived the wonder of His grace.
In every grass and flower and growing tree,
There lives a drop of heaven pure and whole.
In every child of God like you and me,
We find His nature in our very soul.
But eyes refuse to see and ears to hear
The truth that Jesus teaches still today.
And so we walk the lonely path of fear
Until we turn and let Him lead the way.
And may we see in everything the spark
Of Christ our Lord and Savior’s loving heart.
1. He rode upon a donkey colt,
His purpose to fulfill.
It wasn’t trained by anyone,
But Jesus chose it still.
Refrain:
2. On hillsides where He met His flock,
The gentle shepherd spoke.
To common people Jesus brought
The Word of love and hope.
Refrain:
3. We offer Him our thanks and praise
For mercy that endures.
He walks beside us every day,
Our Savior and our Lord.
Refrain: (2x)
The precious Savior of us all
Called upon the least of these.
Refrain:
‘Cause Jesus called the least of these
When little children came.
He took them on His knees,
And Jesus blessed them in God’s name.
So when you’re feeling small,
Just think about His deeds
And how the Savior of us all
Called upon the least of these.

Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out?
And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
–Matthew 17:19-20 (KJV)
Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
–Matthew 7:7-8 (KJV)
“The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched – they must be felt with the heart.”
–Helen Keller
1. I don’t have to touch you
To know that you are near.
The strength within your Spirit
Takes away my fear.
I don’t have to look for you
Or ask where you might be,
‘Cause I feel it in your blessings
Always reaching out to me.
Refrain:
2. I don’t have to see you
To know that we are one.
The light within your Spirit
Fills my heart with sun.
And I don’t have to look at you
To recognize your face,
‘Cause I feel it in the kindness
Of your mercy, love, and grace.
Refrain:
3. And I don’t have to speak
To know you hear my prayer.
The peace within your Spirit
Shows your tender care.
And I don’t have to look to you,
Because you live in me.
And I feel it in your presence
Of the truth that sets me free.
Refrain:
That’s the miracle of you.
That’s the miracle, miracle of you.
Refrain:
And the faith I place in you
Is the miracle you prove.
‘Cause when I ask for more,
You open every door.
And the glass is never empty,
Shattered, broken on the floor.
There’s another little bit,
And I take hold of it.
That’s the miracle of you.

Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
–Hebrews 13:5 (KJV)
We love him, because he first loved us.
–1 John 4:19 (KJV)
1. We wanna be needed in this life,
Makin’ a living sacrifice.
We give in; we give up,
’cause we think that is love.
But He already paid the price.
Refrain:
He says you’ll never find another love like mine.
You can search the universe throughout eternal space and time.
You can choose it or refuse it,
But you’re never gonna lose it,
‘Cause I remain without forsaking you.
O I love you so that you can love me too.
2. We wish to grant their every whim,
Despite the pain we’re living in.
We give up; we give out
So they don’t go without.
But what we need really comes from Him.
Refrain:
3. I know exactly what I sing about,
‘Cause that’s the way I live it out.
I give out; I give way
To the Lord every day.
And I surrender the fear and doubt.
‘Cause
Refrain:
‘Cause there is no other love like mine.
You can search the universe throughout eternal space and time.
You can choose it or refuse it,
But you’re never gonna lose it,
‘Cause I remain without forsaking you.
O I love you so that you can love me too (3x).

I pray you end this year with forgiveness. Extend God-guided forgiveness to anyone you feel has hurt you, for your own sake, knowing that God has forgiven you. And above all, forgive yourself for all past mistakes, so you can begin the New Year, and each moment with a clean slate – spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and physically. I wish you all the best in 2018, and no matter what this year holds, may you seek and find the Presence and Power of God within you!
Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.*
–Matthew 18:21-22 (KJV)
Judge not, that ye be not judged.
For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
–Matthew 7:1-2 (KJV)
*70×7 = 490
Forgiveness 490 – Lyrics
Refrain:
[So] 490 times isn’t too tough,
Forgiving ourselves and each other for stuff.
Never forget all the sins He forgave,
To love and to keep every child that He made.
And 490 times isn’t a strain,
‘Cause we are forgiven again and again and again.
1. The number of stars in the heavens,
And each bless-ed moment we’re livin’,
The total of tears
Through laughter and fears,
That’s how many times we’re forgiven.
Refrain:
2. No human mind and emotions
Can demonstrate such a devotion.
But held in His grace
With our limits erased,
We forgive as deep as the ocean.
Refrain:
3. The tools that we’re using to measure
The worth here on earth of our treasure,
If they never budge,
That’s how we’ll be judged.
We forgive so we live in His pleasure.
Refrain:

Advent 2017 week 4.
On this Christmas Eve, I offer a song about the shepherds. The Good News was not brought to government officials, rich people, or anyone in power. It was brought to simple, humble folks who in faith, believed what they heard. May we be as the shepherds, not only believing the tidings of Christ’s birth, but truly taking them to heart and living each day for God’s glory. I wish you a blessed Christmas celebration and a joy-full New Year made possible by the Spirit within you!
Luke 2:8-20 (KJV)
And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.
And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us. And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger. And when they had seen it, they made known abroad the saying which was told them concerning this child. And all they that heard it wondered at those things which were told them by the shepherds. But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them.
Did They Pray? (Shepherd Song) – Lyrics
1. The shepherds heard the good news first.
Why do you think that could be?
Late at night with the moon for light,
Watching over their sheep,
Did they pray? (4x)
2. The angel came, and so afraid,
The shepherds wondered why.
But Christ the Lord, this day is born,
The Savior of mankind.
Did they pray? (4x)
3. When they heard the joyous word,
They believed what it said.
And making haste to Christ’s birthplace,
They found His manger bed.
Did they pray? (4x)
4. Now we have known and heard and shown
The glory of our God.
So with that sweet humility,
Let us take the path the shepherds trod.
Let us pray. (8x)
