I really have nothing to say about the state of society these days.

Well, I do, but it wouldn’t be fit to print!

Besides, I don’t want to dwell on it, since doing so through lip-service is one of our many human flaws.

On the other hand, burying our heads in the sand is just as destructive.

What, then, are self-aware, relatively well-adjusted, tenuously hopeful humans to do?

Sit down, take a deep breath, become quiet, listen within, and follow our inner direction to be a positive part of the cosmic shift!

“Fairy Song” is an expanded original piece that began as the “fairy flute” from
In the Fairy Meadow.

It now has a B section–additional melody. I play these 2 parts on Oriole (soprano) recorder, with harmony on alto recorder. Take note of the Harmony Ball pendant as well!

On horses with their manes that stream!
You ride them safely now in flight!
You travel far in sweet delight
Upon your brown or on your bay,
On dappled mare or on the gray.
You dream as high as horses leap,
Your own adventure while you sleep
From moonlit night to sunlit day!

Ronovan Writes Décima Poetry Challenge Prompt No. 67: (LEAP) in the D rhyme line.

The background music is the American folk song, “The Little Horses,” which was part of my
Double Strung Experiment series.

This version is played on a true double strung harp, alto recorder, Egg of Creation shaker, maple rattle, and pear branch Little Spirit Shaker.

I wrote this instrumental piece on alto recorder, disguising itself as a Native-American style flute. I.e. playing only the A minor pentatonic scale. If you have no idea what that means, please feel free to ignore it! 🙂

Said recorder is accompanied by ukulele, bamboo/smokebush Harmony Rattle, and Egg of Creation shaker. The intro and ending are Zaphir Sunray/Summer and Koshi Aria/Air chimes.

I hope you enjoy this contemplative evening meditation!

Download “Minuet in F Major” Mp3 Here is an early piano piece by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, “Minuet in F Major.” My double strung harp arrangement is based on the following video by Anne Crosby Gaudet. However, I modified one section, because my harp has no levers. Can you tell which section this is? I hope you enjoy hearing both arrangements!
