Wind making music
Trees sway gently to and fro
Waving hi to Spring
Lyre: 16-string solid body
Tuning: C major pentatonic (tune all B strings up to C, and all F strings down to E)

The Light inside
All Nature is alive in you.
The Light inside
May seem to dim, but never dies.
You are the image and the proof
That All is One in Love and Truth—
The Light inside.
In the wind there is something afoot.
Could be omen, or maybe for good.
It can go either way
And reminds me each day
To treat others the way that I should!
Lyre: 16-string solid body
Tuning: A minor pentatonic (tune all B strings up to C and all F strings down to E)
Thank you, Idaho, for all you give:
Potatoes keeping tummies full.
So versatile and tasty,
And they last a long time.
Boiled, baked, fried or grilled…
Fruit of the Earth,
Potatoes,
I love
You!
Magic unicorns
Are they real or fantasy?
Better to believe.
Let the children imagine,
And follow your dreaming heart!
Lyre: 16-string solid body
Tuning: C Major pentatonic (tune in C, then lower all F strings to E, and raise all B strings to C)
Moonlight
Dances softly
Inviting me to play
And so I ask the Moon if dreams
Come true…
Take comfort in the rocking boat.
Relax and leave the land behind.
Your mind and body gently float;
Take comfort in the rocking boat.
And in this moment, make a note,
While savoring the peace you find.
Take comfort in the rocking boat.
Relax and leave the land behind.
Birds are returning
Building nests and laying eggs
Singing songs of Spring
The strength I need
Is hard to come by many days.
The strength I need…
I call and call; it will not heed.
And when it comes, it doesn’t stay.
If only I could somehow save
The strength I need!
Loving comfort is wrapped in the sound.
Young and elderly all gather round.
Radiant when it rings,
Ev’ry note, ev’ry string.
Simple beauty and magic profound!
Note: You may have noticed that this poem is an Acrostic as well as a Limerick.
